Meghan Ory plays Ruby / Red Riding Hood on ABC’s Once Upon a Time. There is no denying that this dark haired beauty is becoming a heartthrob around the world.
Since the age of five, Meghan Ory knew she wanted to be an actress. She spent many years of dancing, singing and acting back in her hometown of Victoria, BC. She started professionally acting at the age of 15. Four months after she was the lead role on Fox Family Channel telefilm, The Darklings she received another lead role on Hayley Wagner: Star.
Ory spends most of her time divided between Los Angeles, California and Vancouver.

Ruby (Storybrooke)
Ruby lives in Storybrooke and works as a waitress at Granny’s diner. She dreams about leaving and going on adventure. Ruby dresses with a rebellious streak on her sleeve (or lack thereof). Emma offered Ruby a chance for change and branch out to the help with police work. Overcoming her fear and self-doubt, she later discovers Kathryn Nolan’s heart with her impeccable sense of smell. After this encounter, she decides police works is not for her. She then heads back to Granny and gets her job back at the diner.
Red Riding Hood
Red had this itch to leave the little village, where she resides. She lived with her grandmother and was always trapped inside their small cottage at night. Her Granny forces her to wear a big, red, magical cloak. This cloak wards off a werewolf that stalks the woods surrounding her home.
Red dreams about running away one day with her boyfriend, Peter. Red meets Snow White and they become dear friends. Red helped Snow by offering her a place to stay at the cottage. Together, the ladies believed to have figured out the identity of the werewolf as Peter.
Snow informed Granny that Red tied Peter to the tree. This was to keep him from hurting anyone else. Then, Granny revealed they were mistaken on who the werewolf was. Red was caring a curse that has been passed down through generations of her family that made her turn into a wolf during a full moon.
The red cloak kept her from changing. As a wolf, she ended up killing Peter. This caused her and Granny to go on the run. Understanding her wolf senses, this later allowed her to control the secret power within her. Later on Red, Granny, Prince Charming and Snow White because each other’s closet allies.
