Announced today, Frances O’Connor will be joining “Once Upon a Time” in season four (and possibly beyond?!). O’Connor is playing Belle’s mother. She will play Colette who we will meet in the sixth episode. We will learn the immense impact that Colette had on Belle’s life.
We do not know if this is a good or bad relationship. However, we do know she will be in Storybrooke, and Belle is about to reunite with her mother. She will first be introduced through flashbacks. This will be the first time that the writers are taking us into Belle’s past.
