We all know and adore that strong exterior of Emma Swan on ABC’s Once Upon a Time. It is about time to take off that mask and see whom the real Ms. Swan is.
We are talking about Jennifer Morrison, of course. She currently has a plate full of many amazing projects for her fans to look forward to. Her next appearance can be seen at the Tribeca Film Festival in “Knife Fight.” This is a story around a young political crisis manager who learns an important lesson about believe in the most unlikely of people.
Currently, Morrison is also in pre-production of a film adaption by Neil LeBute’s “Some Girls.” It follows a man who revisited many of his ex-girlfriends who are scorned. This all happens on the eve of his big wedding day.
Not to long ago, Morrison was seen featuring on “Warrior.” Gavin O’Conner directs the film and performing along side her was Nick Nolte and Joel Edgerton. Some other film credits, which are deserved, would be:
- Star Trek
- Mr. and Mrs. Smith
- Surviving Christmas
- Flourish
The big screen is not the only amazing places Morrison has shown off her talent. We have seen her on other hit television shows, such as:
- How I Met Your Mother
- House
For “House,” she was nominated for a Screen Guild Award in 2009, a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series in 2008, 2007 and 2006, and a 2008 Golden Globe. Morrison was nominated for a 2008 WIN Award for Outstanding Actress Drama Series for the show.
Morrison is currently living in Los Angeles; however, she originally is from the Windy City of Chicago. She studied at Steppenwolf Theatre Company and earned a degree in theater from Loyola University.

A honorable mention goes to the TV-movie “Bringing Ashley Home”. She won an PRISM award for her role.
Since I saw her on Dr House I became in her fan she was the best female doctor that there was on Dr House and when the first team was broken the show went from bad to worse and when Cameron (Jennifer) left the series it isn´t the same so I stopped watching it, now OUAT is my favorite TV show 😀
she´s a good actress I´ve seen some of her movies (Big Stan, Surviving Christmas) and the movie I´ve like most it´s “Bringing Ashley Home”.
Sorry for my english, but I´m not american.
